I had a really positive experience with Wantage Cars and Yousef when buying my Polo. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at ease. The car was exactly as advertised -- clean, well-prepared, and ready to go -- which immediately gave confidence.The whole process was straightforward and hassle-free, with all the paperwork clear and in order. The price felt fair for the quality of the car, and there was no pressure at any point.What really stood out was Yousef himself. He was helpful, honest, and clearly takes pride in doing things properly. He even went out of his way to deliver the car to me the same day at no extra charge, which was greatly appreciated.A genuine gentleman and an honourable businessman. Honourable, trustworthy, decent and very nice people. Was very pleased with my VW beetle. Checked out by v experienced mechanic friend of mine. 50 miles on way home, developed problem. Yousef’ immediate response was ‘we’ll sort it’. Took to my local garage (60 miles from Wantage) next day who after many tests identified major problem. Yousef’ immediately said ‘we’ll refund your money and collect the car’. Refund straight back into my account. So appreciated his response and actions.

From the initial phone call, Yousef was brilliant. Friendly, helpful and engaging. I rang on Sunday, made an offer on the vehicle in question on Monday which was accepted and I made arrangements to collect the car the following Saturday, as per our agreement. I sorted out the insurance and train tickets and confirmed on Thursday (which was ignored) and again on Friday what time I would be arriving on Saturday.I was greeted with a reply nearly 6 hours later at 7:31pm the day before collection that the car was no longer available!! I am now nearly £148 out of pocket for absolutely nothing and our autistic son who was looking forward to his first train ride to collect Dad's new car is now understandably upset. It's dealings like this that make the process of buying a used car daunting, stressful and intimidating. I wish people would just be straightforward and honest to deal with, it would make life's journey far more enjoyable. I don't understand why Yousef would agree a sale with me just to then sell the car to someone else, I can only guess that it was for more money.

Was an absolute pleasure dealing with Yousef and Wantage car sales.After a disappointing day of looking at Potential white VW Polos for our daughter Wantage car sales was our last visit of the day. We found the perfect car, Good mileage and full service history, this was the first time the car was as described, lovely condition inside and out.we did have a minor problem with the car and true to his Word Yousef covered the cost of the repair at our local garage.He always responded to my calls and text immediately and sorted the payment straight away.I would highly recommend Wantage car sales and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase my next car with Yousef, I just might make him my first Visit not the last .Many thanks, Yousef and Wantage car sales.
